Information for patients prior to microsurgery
Before microsurgical intervention, the list of required laboratory tests and additional examinations is determined by the anesthesiologist, depending on existing comorbidities (please bring your outpatient card, previous test results, medical reports, and discharge summaries).
No tests are required for laser vision correction, laser coagulation, or cross-linking procedures!
List of necessary tests before surgery
If you are preparing for surgery on your own, at the time of the preoperative consultation for surgical treatments such as cataract surgery (phacoemulsification, refractive lens exchange), glaucoma, strabismus correction, vitreoretinal and other microsurgical procedures, you must have with you:

A mandatory anesthesiologist examination and evaluation of test results must be performed no later than 12 hours before surgery.
Laboratory and instrumental examinations:
- complete blood count;
- blood glucose test;
- RW (syphilis) blood test;
- Hepatitis B (HBsAg) and Hepatitis C (HCV IgM);
- urinalysis;
- electrocardiogram (ECG);
- fluorography or chest X-ray, CT, MRI;
Specialist conclusions:
- examination by a therapist or family doctor with a report on comorbidities and fitness for surgery;
- ENT consultation (if pathology is present);
- dentist consultation (if pathology is present);
