I, Vorobiova Valentyna Mykolaivna, had cataract surgery at the «British Ophthalmological Center» 4 years ago on one eye, and a year ago on the left one. I underwent a wonderful surgery with an English Rayner lens. I was very happy. But there remained a problem with the retina in my eye. This was not dependent on the doctors. My vision in the left eye began to deteriorate. At the city hospital, I was offered an Eylea injection. In this clinic, the procedure costs 8,000 UAH and has to be done continuously. I went to the «British Ophthalmological Center», and after a full examination I was told that I had a dry form of cystoid macular edema. This injection was strictly contraindicated for me. I would have gone blind after it! At that time, my vision had dropped to 20%. After the examination at the British Center, I was treated by the doctor – a very caring and professional doctor. In addition to treating my eye, Uliana Ivanivna reassured me: «Do not worry. We will do everything possible and improve your vision!» I came to the center in May 2023, and today, on August 24, Ukraine’s Independence Day, I have a double celebration – my vision has been restored to 100%. I cannot express the joy – mine and my son’s. I want to say a huge thank you to the doctor the entire staff of the «British Ophthalmological Center». Very attentive staff. Modern cataract treatment and clear post‑op instructions made a big difference.
