I am 27 years old and have had vision problems since the 8th grade. At first I wore glasses, then switched to contact lenses (I used them for about 10 years). Vision was minus 8 in both eyes. Just 5 minutes of surgery and the very next day you can see as you once did a long time ago. This is an unreal feeling. You feel complete, unencumbered by anything (glasses or contacts). It's worth it! Thanks to all the staff at the British Eye Centre, especially the nurse who held my hand during the operation.
